Thank you for choosing Style Rent for your dress hire. We’re excited to provide you with a beautiful garment for your upcoming event. Before we can finalise your booking, we require your acceptance of our Terms & Conditions, which outline your responsibilities when hiring from Style Rent.
Acceptance of Terms
By renting from Style Rent, you agree to abide by all the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement. Style Rent reserves the right to update these terms at any time without prior notice.
Rental Period: Our standard rental period options include 4 days or 8 days. We aim to send garments as early as possible, but delivery times may vary. Rest assured; you will receive your item before your event date.
Pickups: We will notify you when your garment is ready for collection. Pickup arrangements will be made with you the week of your hire. Pick-ups are available on Wednesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays from Lane Cove.
Express Postage: If you choose express postage, a tracking link will be sent to the email or number you provide. We will also send delivery details via email or Instagram direct messages.
Late returns (after 4 pm on the return date) will incur a $25 daily fee. Our Shipping fee is $30 which includes the delivery to you and a provided prepaid return satchel.
Booking Process: To book via Instagram, please send us a direct message via Instagram with the details of the dress you would like to rent as well as your email. You will receive an email from us with the details of your booking along with our terms & conditions to sign and return.
To book via our website, please select your rental period and then click on the “book here” tab at the bottom right of the screen when you click on a dress. Please fill out the required details and we will get back to you ASAP, please keep an eye out on your email provided for our response.
To secure your booking, a deposit or full payment and signed terms & conditions is needed at the time of booking.
Refunds & Cancellations: Refunds are not available. For change-of-mind cancellations made at least 1 week before your booking date, a store credit will be issued.
If notice is given less than 1 week before the booking date, a 50% cancellation fee applies.
Return Process: For Sydney pickups, returns are due by 9pm on the return date, unless otherwise arranged. Late returns will result in a $25 daily fee. For postage returns, simply place your dress in the return pre-paid satchel included in your order and lodge over the counter at an Australia Post Outlet (highly recommended) or place in a yellow Express Australia Post Box by 12pm AEST on your return date. If the return date is a Sunday or public holiday, you can return it by 12pm AEST on the next business day. No need to worry about dry cleaning — we’ll handle it for you!

If you have lost your return satchel, it is your responsibility to send the order back to us via Express Post by 12pm on the return date at your own expense.
Sizing & Styling Issues: If the size or style of your garment is wrong, please return your dress back within 24 hours of delivery (via drop-off or express post) and we will issue a store credit once the dress is returned to us in its original condition. For returns by express post, please provide us with the tracking number to be eligible for a store credit.
Garment Care & Damage: We expect all dresses to be treated with care.
Please ensure you return the hire garment unwashed or dry cleaned. You agree that under no circumstances will you attempt to clean/repair the hire garment yourself or have them cleaned/repaired by anyone else. Please do not cut, alter or iron any garment booked.
If a dress is damaged (stains, rips, pulls, tears, etc.), you will be responsible for covering the cost of repairs. If the damage is beyond repair, you will be charged the full retail price of the garment.
As a customer of Style Rent, you agree, that you are liable for any damage that is caused to the clothing item, or if the item is missing or stolen. If the dress becomes missing, or stolen, you agree to pay the full recommended retail price or replacement price.
If damage (stains, rips, etc) is observed when your garment arrives, please take photos of this and let us know right away. If you don't do this and there was no known damage prior to delivery, it may be assumed that the damage was caused by you.
Quality of Hire Items:
While Style Rent makes every effort to maintain the quality of hire items, it is important to consider that garments stocked at Style Rent are often not brand-new, they are often garments which have been hired by others and worn prior to you. Consequently, signs of wear on garments which may include but are not limited to, fabric pilling, minor staining, staining on the inside of garments and other wear and tear should be reasonably expected.
Cancellations by Style Rent
Style Rent may experience factors which may prevent an order from being fulfilled. With this, Style Rent Hire holds the right to cancel the clients booking. Reasons Style Rent may cancel your booking includes factors such as:
The hire dress is damaged, lost or stolen by the previous hirer.
The hire dress is unable to be delivered in time for the booking, due to late return by the previous hirer.
The hire dress is unable to be delivered in time for the booking, due Aus post delays.
